Eagle Project:
For his Eagle project Dale widened the entire length of the Yellow Trail at at Upton Hill Regional Park in Arlington (about a half-mile end-to-end). The project involved widening the trail from about 3.5 feet to about 6.5 feet to allow use by the Park’s “Gator”, and re-lining the entire trail with set-in logs. One section had to be rerouted for about 75 yards, and another previous Eagle Scout’s Project had to be essentially rebuilt. About 400 yards of the trail was also mulched to a depth of about 6 inches. Approximately 300 Man-Hours of work.

Dale will be attending Mary Washington University starting this August.

Thanks to the Board of Review members Rob Beckman, Clay Henderson, John Kelly, Ruth Netting, and Max Padon.
