Hello ehughes: Troop 111 is always open to new scouts and welcomes your inquiries. I suggest the best way to learn more is to attend a Monday night meeting at St. Agnes at 7:00pm. You can meet the scout master as well other scouts and see if our Troop is the one you'd like to join. There is also a lot of information on the website which I'm sure you've seen.

Feel free to email me specific questions as well.

Hi Steve - Thank you for the email. The National Capital Area Council 50/20 is currently limited to local Boy Scout Troops. We simply do not have the resources to support a larger event at this time.

I am the High Adventure Coordinator for Troop 431 from Minsi Trails Council in Allentown, PA. I have learned a great deal from reading and studying Dr. Bob's posts on Philmont and his AT blog. We are preparing for a trip to Philmont in 2013 and I was wondering if the Alonzo Stagg event is open to Troops from outside the National Capital Area Council and the Chain Bridge district?

Thanks - Bob - BSA Troop 431 - East Texas, PA
